Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to each and every one of you! Even if you don't live in the USA, come celebrate with us. You're invited! We're having a block party on our court, with games for the kids like old fashioned bike races and water balloon fights. Then a barbecue with a pot luck. Lawn chairs in the front yard, and friendly neighbors all around us. It just can't get any more American than that! We may be outcasts next year, because we have a lot of family coming. Both of my sons are coming along with family and grand-kids! An American dream come true (:

And speaking of the red, white and blue, no one does it better than Minick and Simpson from Moda. Laurie and Polly are the reining queens of these colors. I used their "Winter" fabric line in my newest block of the month, "I believe in Angels"

I met them both at Spring market and they handed me this wonderful fat pack of fabric! Don't you love it? It's their new "American Primer" line and it's filled with wonderful red, white and blue fat quarters. And yes they have some gold and green in there too. It should be in the stores by September or October. I'll be doing something with this line for sure.

And Laurie and Polly have started a blog! You have to visit and let them know you were there. They have lots of giveaways and fun things. It just doesn't get any more USA than this! http://minickandsimpson.blogspot.com/.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Hugs,
Anne
