I believe in serendipity. Opportunities, that may seem accidental, but never really are. One thing leads to another and before you know it you’re reaching for a dream and touching it!
This post is to say “thank you” to all of you who have helped me on my serendipitous travels! Thank you to all of you who read my blog, purchase my patterns, or visit my web site. Thank you to all the shops who buy my patterns, have become friends and support me over and over again. And a special thank you to two shops who helped me get started:
This is the shop where so many designers began their journey; Joanna Figueroa, Verna Mosquera, Sandy Klop, Denise Sheehan, and myself of course. Many others have followed including the shop’s owner Joe Wood! Sandy and I were talking about it at market, and we’re still amazed at how many came from that shop! Thank you Joe and Roxie for all the support you’ve given all of us!
Kimberly Jolly of the Fat Quarter Shop not only purchased my first patterns for her shop, but she hand carried them to Moda. Hand carried! She took a chance on a newbie!
We’ve been good friends ever since. And today she’s still helping new designers get started! Her support and friendship made it so much easier for me in the design world.
New designers remember, when she offers her hand, she wants to help. She is an amazing woman both professionally and personally, and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you Lissa Alexander and Debbie Outlaw from Moda!
Without you we’d all be lost. Thank you for providing the fabric that makes it possible for designers to do what they do! Without the two of you, it would never be the same.
Thank you to all of you! Let’s have a giveaway!
At market I purchased a fat pack of the new Three Sisters “Martinique” from Moda Fabrics. When I got home I found an extra Jelly Roll/Layer Cake combo. Soooo, two of you are going to be lucky winners. One will win the fat quarter bundle the one will win the Jelly Roll/Layer Cake! !
Look at this fabric! It’s beautiful. I think it may be my favorite line from fall market.
I’ll do a drawing on Thursday so be sure to leave a comment.
See you Thursday!
Hugs,
Anne

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 634 Newer› Newest»Ooooh - that Martinique is so tempting! I love anything by those mysterious 3 Sisters. Do you know them personally???
How could it be that I am the first to post? In any event please enter me in your drawing....I am continually amazed at the great people you meet on blog and the talent amassed in the one place! Love you patterns!!
Laurel NJ
WHaeser1@aol.com
Oooo, beautiful fabric! I'd love to win it! And I can't wait to see your new fabric, either, Anne! It looks sooo fun!
Robin
I think that half the fun of our craft is being surrounded by such amazing people. You're also included in that list!
I've been drooling over the photos of Martinique!
Wonderful fabric!! Please enter me in your drawing.
And we are equally grateful to designers like you who help us make such beautiful quilts. Thank YOU!
You are indeed fortunate to have the support of such fine people. I love all the fabric from 3 Sisters so please enter me in the drawing. I'll be sure to put it to good use!
So inspiring to be surrounded by all of that beautiful fabric. I would love to win something lovely!! Thanks for sharing.
I agree with Phyl. I love looking forward to your designs and making the quilts! Thanks, Lorrie
Glad you had a wonderful time at market! What pretty fabric. Lucky us that your so sweet to share. :)
Sounds like you had a great time at Market! I'd love to win one of the prizes! Keep those great patterns coming :) Love the Bunnies!!
Oh wow!! I would love to give either of those bundles a good home!!
Well, if this is a post of thank yous, here's mine:
Thank you Anne for being such a positive voice, and for bringing more sweetness into the world. We haven't met, but grabbing my cup of tea and clicking on your blog make it seem as if I'm having tea with a dear friend:)
Thank YOU for all your great designs! Beautiful fabric!
What a lovely post of gratitude. Moda is my favorite fabric company, and sadly, our LQS is dropping it from their lines. I'll be needing to find an online source for my Moda fixes!
Please enter me in your drawing. I'd love to own some of the new line.
Blessings,
Donna
What a great giveaway. It's so nice to hear where people got their start.
Your designs are always amazing! I see great possibilities using Martinique and one of your patterns! It would be a great treat to win! Erica
Serendipity is alive and well for sure! So glad you've found your path and that you share all your gorgeous designs with the rest of us to inspire us and allow us to create! And, I love the fabric you choose for the giveaway. Thanks for sharing!
Those are lovely sentiments and wonderful friends you have. I love Martinique...I can't seem to keep my hands off the 3 Sisters fabrics.
Wow, that is so neat that she did that for you. In all the ordering I have done with them, she has always seemed so sweet and friendly.
Beautiful fabric! Please, enter me to the giveaway.
I can't wait to see your new fabric, either!
Hugs,
Veronica
I'd love to win, but most of all I want to thank you for what YOU do! You're so much fun to read, and I love your patterns! My carry me bag was carried all over quilt festival this weekend, and I received SO MANY compliments! Love Love Love what you do!
Such beautiful fabric! Please enter me in your drawing. I think it would be perfect in my next quilt from a Bunny Hill pattern.
Love it! can't to see what you do with it. Hope I win :o)
Been reading your blog for some time now and enjoy every word and would love to feel those fabrics. Thanks!!
Thank you for all of the inspiration!
Anne,
You don't know me, but you certainly inspire me. I love applique, embrodery, and quilting so we have a lot in common. I love the look of Martinque and I thought of making pillows since I purchased your "Pretty Pillows" pattern. I have a peekapom named "Sara" who admires and follows Chelsesa's blog religiously. Anyway, win or lose you are a very talented lady so keep creating.
oh how lovely! the Martinique looks gorgeous!
Martinique looks amazing! I love anything by 3 Sisters. Please enter me in the giveaway!
The fabric looks fantastic, I am a sucker for 3 Sisters fabrics. Please add me to the drawing. Thanks so much :)
Thanks for your generosity, Anne.
There certainly would not be as many people creating wonderful heirlooms without you and the others designers out there. Thank you one and all. And I know exactly what I would create with those fabrics should I be fortunate to win. {{Hugs}}
Thank you Anne for all that YOU do for US! You are the creative inspiration that gives us that little push to create such lovely quilts and wall art. You're the best! I would LOVE to win one of the MODA pretties. I hope, I hope, I pray, please, please pick me!!
You cannot read quilters' blogs and not be impressed with the generous spirit in each one. There is something so inspirational in the stack of fabric...
Wow, gorgeous fabric!! I'm glad Fall Market was such a success!
Please enter me in the giveaway!
Anne, Thank You for your delightful approach to life and quilting. Love your patterns and fabrics. Warm blessings......

OOOOOOOH - it does look pretty - what could I could I make with that! Looking forward to your new fabric too!
I am a recent fan of Yoko Saito and when in your previous blog you mentioned you met her ... I was awed. My pal said that she'll be bowing profusely too!
Thank you so much for the beautiful fabric giveaway. Please enter my name to the draw.
