Sample Spree and Day 1

Quilt Market is the treat after all the hard work. It’s just so much fun to see everyone and you can’t imagine the creativity and production that goes into making all this happen.

We spent the day trying to assemble our booth. Brigette and Nancy were in charge of putting up the bed.

And remember the chandelier with the missing candles? We tossed the candles and added jelly strip bows.

And slowly our booth came together.

Bitty's are here

Lynette Anderson came by with the cutest Keds ever! Did you know you can have shoes made out of your own photos or fabric? This is from one of her fabric lines! She promised to send me a link to the site. I’ll share when I get it.

Lynette's keds

Then it was off to sample spree…

Here are my bunny helpers setting up our table! And see the crates of boxes at the end of the room?

Sample Spree 2

That’s Moda fabrics and bundles just waiting to be unpacked.

Sample Spree 1

Fabric…

Set up begins

and more fabric…

Fabric, Fabric

and then the tables were empty,

Empty Table

because of a certain person who shall remain nameless, but she did come to market with me and we do have the same name.

Filled with fabric

She’s helping the economy!

Hugs,

Anne

Ann, your booth looks great! Scotties everywhere, and clever to use the bows on the chandelier....is that carpet in the auditorium patchwork? Thanks for sharing your wonderful pics and making us part of your market experience :-)

Oh, what I wouldn't give to be one of your bunny helpers! Say hi to my friend, Carolyn. I was in Cottage Quilts yesterday and I spoke to David -- he said she was lonely -- first time going to market without him. How can that be at such a fun place? The chandelier is an inspiration!

Your booth looks beautiful...love the ribbons instead of candles. Questions...do you love the new French General as much as the current line? Which new lines were you swooning over?

I've stood next to the said certain person at the Moda table at a previous sample spree... and I can clearly see by the contents I know who the secret squirrel is. WOW... did she load up! I'm on to her.

Love all the pics and the scoop, Anne. Love your booth is beautiful and love that your candle holder was repurposed - I love it how it is!

You girls sure know how to have fun at Market! Your booth turned out great, of course. Especially love that quilt on the bed. Yum! ;-) I'm adding those cute little dogs on the list of things to make for my boys. They are going to love them!

Glad you made it back in one piece.
